Week 3 UMC: Lips, Hands & Feet
SO WE'RE back from round three. By now I hope you're getting in the routine of setting aside time to pamper yourself. One mask a week is all it takes to not only detox your skin but also detox your mind. I find my mind is much more at ease when I am taking a personal spa day. My mind tends to wonder when I have that quiet time for myself.
THIS WEEK is all about pampering the areas we typically forget to show some love to. That means lips, hands and feet.
I STARTED off with my DIY simple sugar lip scrub and cinnamon lip mask. The mask gave me this tingling feeling, leaving my lips smooth and plump. Now don't leave it on too long or the cinnamon might cause irritation. Make sure to moisturize with a good lip balm to finish.
Pro Tip! Apply the Cinnamon Lip mask in the morning because it is a natural lip plumper!
Going on with the Spa Day theme, I decided to do a foot soak, scrub and mask. Just because it's Winter and no one sees your feet doesn't mean you can afford to neglect them.
FINALLY, let your hands soak in some Virgin Olive Oil to leave your hands and nails hydrated and soft to the touch.
