5 Ways To Use A Single Sheet Mask

5 Ways To Use A Single Sheet Mask

Sheet masks have been all the craze in beauty this year. Taking a page from the KBeauty handbook, the beauty aisle is now home to a plethora of masks to choose from. With their single use packaging at $5.00 a piece (and that’s just the affordable ones), there must be a better way to make use of this moisture fulled gems. Here are 5 ways to Use a Single Sheet Mask!

1. NECK MASK

The first way to make use of the mask is the simplest way. After letting the sheet mask soak on your face for a good 20 minutes, fold the mask in two with the top facing up (the side that has not touched your face) and place it over your neck for a moisturizing neck mask. One entire side of the mask has not been used as of yet, so it makes no sense to toss a perfectly good sheet mask in the trash. Let it sit on your neck for another 10 minutes or until it dries.

After taking your mask out of the packaging, you'll notice that there is usually quite a bit of product left in the package. You can create a number of items using the left over hydrating serum. The next 4 tricks will show you exactly how to make use of this left over serum!

2. DIY SERUM

Pour the left over serum into a clean dropper bottle and keep for the next night to use as a hydrating serum. After cleansing and toning the skin, apply a few drops of the serum to your skin. You should be able to get at 3-4 days worth of use out of this serum. You can even add a a bit of Aloe Vera to make it last even longer and get added benefits.

3. DIY FACIAL MIST

Pour the left over product into a small spray bottle and add some distilled water. This will make a simple, hydrating facial mist for you to use for the next two weeks!

4. DIY TONER

By now I'm sure you're aware of the first step: pour the remaining serum into a clean container. Add some witch hazel, water and a few drops of essential oil and use as a toner for the next week!

5. DIY SHEET MASK

If all else, you should be able to get at least one more face mask out the the serum. Collect the left overs and place in an air tight container. You can purchase sheet mask paper on the web or simply grab a box of tissue paper and let it soak up the product for about 1 minute. Lay the mask over your face to enjoy yet another amazing sheet mask.

xoxo
