December 2019 Bullet Journal Set Up

It is the last month of the year and the last year of a decade. This year has consisted of so many ups and downs, changes, and adjustments. But most of all, so many memories to take into the next year. December is usually very busy for me so I decided to plan my month early now that I have a bit of time.

I’m actually so proud of myself because this is the first bujo that i have completed in it’s entirety. I did a full bujo last year but I started in May (so not technically a full year). I am so happy I was able to start a bujo and keep at it for 12 months. I already have my next book for 2020 and can’t wait to get started!

December 2019 Bujo cover page

Keeping with my minimalist theme, I did this spread in black and white. I did not want it to look too festive so I just added small touches of winter decor while maintaining a good amount of white space.

Monthly Calendar and Moon Journal

So, I started doing a vertical calendar set up in November which I liked. It gave me more space to utilize the second page. This was super important because I realized I only had 16 pages (back and front) for this spread. Which I know sounds like a lot but I had to adjust my spread so everything would fit in the limited space I had left.

On the other side, I continued with my Moon Journal to track my progress during the month.

Habits, To-DO, Tarot

Nothing new here, my habits are still the same. I might tweak it a bit for the New Year, but we’ll see where my focus is in the next year. For now, I continue with my tarot card reading for the month and my blog planner.

Christmas Planning

This page, I’m seriously excited about, my Christmas Log. Starting off with a bit of room for planning, shopping and holiday to-dos. Then also a gratitude log to help me reflect on the great moments that happened last year.

I also have a quote on the right side (since we have already confirmed that I have an obsession with quotes). It’s from one of my favourite movies that I watch around the holidays. My family and I re-watch both The Sound Of Music and Marry Poppins every year. Its not a Christmas movie but it has become a tradition for us.

Weekly Spreads

Going into weekly spreads. Once again, I kept it simple and added a few images that remind me of the holidays - nothing too cliche though.

Last week of 2019 Spread

As mentioned, I didn’t have too much room for this spread but I seriously did not want to spill into 2020s bujo so I split some of the days. I will be busy with family so I won’t have too much to write the week of Christmas. I was so surprised that it all fit!

And that’s it. My last spread of 2019. I can’t wait to see what is in store for the new decade. I wish you all the happiness this Christmas has to offer.
