January 2020 Bullet Journal Spread

Jumping right in to 2020, we’re starting off with a fresh spread for January. Its simple, minimal and incorporates mindful practices to get through the cold winter season.

I wanted to make sure that January’s spread incorporated some type of greenery as a reminder that beneath all the ice and snow there is still life and growth just beneath the surface. I got this cover page idea from a photo I saw on Pinterest. I added a paper bag throughout this spread to add some colour.

For my monthly calendar, I wanted to keep it simple as always. I went back to my two-page spread and on the right hand side I jot down my goals, YouTube benchmarks, and my do list.

Next we have our moon journal. This is a neat way to track the progress of whatever goal you set for the month as you can see it visually represented. The moon has its phases that personally I find influences my mood and habits so its nice to have these reminders. I typically do some sort of “shadow work,” tarot reading or meditation before writing on this page. Below of course I have my monthly tarot as an overview of the month.

On the right hand side of course i have my habit tracker.

On this page I have a quick view of my monthly content planning. It is separated by all the categories of blog posts, YouTube videos and IG TV ideas I have for the month. On the right side I have a quote as a little reminder for motivation.

My weekly spread look similar to the first page as I personally finish them all in one setting rather than weekly (ain’t nobody got time to sit down on a weekly basis!) On this page I typically write my daily tarot, quick to-do’s as well as my sleep tracker in the grid.

This year I wanted to incorporate a monthly Reflections page, to help with my mindfulness goal for the year. Just taking the time to think about how the month past impacted my life, what I enjoyed and what I want to change.
