Good morning darlings! As promised I have another review for you lovely ladies and gents. This is my honest review of Vanity Planet and their Ultimate Skin Spa System spin brush. I also talk about my experience with their Spin For Perfect Skin spin brush. Lets get down to the nitty gritty!
This is the Ultimate Skin Spa System spin brush. It retails on their website for $179.00 CAD. This brush was featured in my Morning Skin Care Routine. One of the things I love about Vanity Planet is that the website typically has sales going on all the time, so if you wait long enough something you have your eye on will be marked down.
3 brush heads
Daily Cleansing Brush
If you didn't already watch the video above where I go into detail about how I came across this brush feel free to watch it to get the whole story. But the gist of it is, I had first ordered the Spin For Perfect Skin facial brush. It was great for cleansing but I found it didn't quite suit my needs as much as I had hoped. So I instead went for the Ultimate Skin Spa System.
One of the features that drew me to this one in particular was that it came in a neat and compact case perfect for traveling.
The brush itself is slightly smaller than its predecessor but it features two speeds and three amazing brush heads.
Daily Cleansing Brush
This is the Daily Cleansing Brush. This brush is super soft and is specifically designed to give you the most gentle, tender clean. I use this one in the morning.
This brush has denser packed bristles designed to lift away dirt, and debris on the skin. I typically use this one at night usually every other night.
Perfect for a gentle deep clean. It doesn't irritate the skin and is perfect for even dry and sensitive skin helps. It helps unclog pores which enhances the absorption of your skin care products. I love using this one to take off my makeup.
This spin brush requires 2 AA batteries to operate. The battery compartment is secured with a rubber rim to ensure the batteries are safely secured and kept away from water. This is great feature but it does make it a bit difficult to open with use as the rubber sticks very securely. I use an Exacto knife to prop it open.
My final thoughts is that this brush works really well for cleaning deep into your pores to get off dead skin and oil lingering on the surface of your face. I always feel like I get a really deep clean whenever I use this and it has become a staple in my beauty regime.
I have been using this brush for the past years months now and have noticed the dark spots and acne scars on my face beginning to lighten and fade, as the dead old skin is being rubbed away. This is of course with consistent use.
Social media has been blowing up about the Clarisonic Mia 2 for a while now and I do own my own brush from them. Comparing the two, the size, shape and overall makeup of the brush heads are very similar. The only difference is that the Vanity Planet is cheaper!
If you haven't already, I definitely encourage you to try this out. You will instantly fall in love with this brush and also the roster of products they have on their site.
