I Tried Poetic Justice Braids

I decided to put my hair in a protective style to give it a break. On the 8th of the month (after the party) in large single braids. To do this style, I washed my hair for the first time in under 30 minutes. I shampooed and conditioned in the shower then put in a deep conditioner while my hair was parted into twists. I prepped my hair with Aloe Water, Tresemme Heat Protector, blow-dried my hair then moisturized with lotion and oil. My hair felt super moisturized and soft.

I washed my hair on the 22nd of the month (after 2 weeks of this style). I put in leave-in conditioner throughout my hair as well. I have also noticed that my roots are growing out pretty fast. When I take out these braids, I have to remember to do a length check!
