Hey Honey Mud Mask

My Experience

I got my hands on this mud mask in my Fabfitfun box as part of my subscription. I was super excited to try it because I have heard so many great things about the dead sea mud. The product does have a thicker consistency, it feels like slightly grainy honey (that’s honestly the best description of what it feels like). It’s grainy but not scratchy. Mud’s are always great because they don’t dry down too harshly, it’s really gentle as opposed to a clay mask. So you’re still going to get a lot of moisture from this mask. Excellent for dry skin. I do have combination, and I still put this product all over, even on the oilier parts of my face and I did not notice any excess production of oil or anything.

When I initially tried this, I was getting over a breakout from my period, and I did noticed that I had a lot of texture on my face. I have used this mask religiously 2x a week over the past 3 months now and my skin texture really did improve.

Whether or not it kills acne-causing bacteria, I’d have to do more research about dead sea mud. But it is so good at giving the skin a gentle exfoliation (which gets rid of texture) and it helped heal my active acne.

Overall

I really do enjoy this mask. Now at the bottom of the bottle, I would absolutely love to use this again. If you are struggling from acne but don’t want to try out the skin (especially now that it is winter) I would recommend trying this out.
